Purchase and License Terms – Audioleaf
1. Scope
These Purchase and License Terms govern the purchase and use of content made available through the Audioleaf platform.
By completing a purchase, the buyer agrees to these terms.
2. Nature of Purchase
Purchases made through Audioleaf grant the buyer a license to use content, not ownership of the underlying intellectual property.
Ownership remains with the creator, subject to the licenses described herein.
3. License Grant
Upon successful payment, the buyer is granted a:
- non-exclusive
- non-transferable
- perpetual license
to use the purchased content for the purposes explicitly stated at the time of purchase.
4. License Activation
The license becomes effective:
- immediately upon confirmed payment
Access to content may be provided via download, delivery, or platform access.
5. Permitted Use
Permitted use includes:
- personal or commercial use, as specified at purchase
- reproduction and distribution within the scope of the license
Any use beyond the stated scope requires separate authorization from the creator.
6. Prohibited Use
Buyers may not:
- claim authorship
- sublicense or resell content unless explicitly permitted
- use content in violation of applicable law
7. Content Removal After Purchase
If content is removed from the platform after purchase:
- the buyer’s license remains valid
- access already granted is not revoked
Audioleaf is not obligated to provide continued hosting after removal.
8. Refunds
Refunds are governed by the Refund Policy.
Content removal due to policy enforcement does not automatically entitle the buyer to a refund unless required by law.
9. Platform Role
Audioleaf facilitates transactions between creators and buyers and does not assume ownership of content.
Audioleaf does not guarantee the suitability of content for any specific purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
Audioleaf is not liable for disputes between buyers and creators regarding licensed content, except where liability cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by applicable law as specified in the platform documentation.
